My curiosity about Michael Bay’s real life steroid infused criminal enterprises story turned summer action flick has been pretty much off the charts since I saw this image of The Rock.
Now that the trailer has hit it seems like it will be a fun little ride.
Pain & Gain is an upcoming action comedy film written by Christopher Markus

articles by investigative journalist Pete Collins about a couple of Florida steroid-abusing knucklehead bodybuilders who become criminals involved in an extortion ring and a kidnapping plot that goes horribly awry.
As Collins put it:
“They were local bodybuilders with a penchant for steroids, strippers, and quick cash. And they became expert in the use of a peculiar motivational tool: Torture”.
The crime pic was budgeted at $25M and is part of Bay’s two-film deal with Paramount
